Welcome to my journal! Right now I’m working through a totally enjoyable obsession with the novels WICKED and SOAW, both by Gregory Maguire. This includes anything related such as artwork, fanfics and music. I am partial to the bookverse, but also enjoy the musical version. I really appreciate the talented people here who have chosen to share their visions, especially those who work in bookverse and gelphie. I’ve only attempted one illustration which I’ve put into my scraps; just where it belongs as I am no artist. If you are also WICKED obsessed may I recommend the musical skills of Hannah Fury. After reading the novel she also became an obsessed fan and went ahead and wrote a series of songs based on the book, which also predate the broadway musical. The songs are evocative and haunting.

If you are wondering about the photos of pins and earrings in my gallery, these are from a sideline of mine. I have some skill in the photography of jewelry, specializing in vintage costume jewelry, so I selected some shots I’ve taken for various customers. This way I would have at least something to show in my gallery for those of you taking the time to visit.
